Does TikTok Show Who Viewed Your Videos?

TikTokers can see how many people liked, viewed, and interacted with their videos and posts and keep them informed about viewer engagement. According to Statista, TikTok is the most popular short-video platform having recorded over 1 billion downloads in 2023.

As a user, you may want to know the accounts that viewed your posts. TikTok keeps changing its policies, community guidelines, and features.

Does TikTok show who viewed your videos?  This article shares everything you need to know about profile and post-view history.

Does TikTok Show Who Viewed Your Video?

The answer is yes, but only for some users. TikTok recently introduced a new post view history policy that allows users to see followers who viewed their posts and videos; thus, keeping them informed about their audience engagement.

According to TikTok, after turning this setting on, users following you who also have the setting can see that you viewed their posts. However, it is important to note that post-view history only displays views from:

  • Users who follow you and have turned on the post/video view history and viewed your videos
  • Users who don’t follow you that have commented on your videos or liked them even if the person has not turned the post view history feature on.
  • Users who have viewed your videos that were posted within the last 7 days.

Note: This feature is only available to users who are over 16 years old and have less than 5,000 followers.
